Join us as we open the 1999 William Wiley Elementary Time Capsule!
The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on May 3 in the William Wiley Elementary gym. Current and past families, staff, community members and the media are invited to attend.
The time capsule was buried by students and staff in 1999, the year William Wiley Elementary opened its doors.
The first year the school had more than 530 students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade and employed about 32 certificated and 18 classified staff. Since then, thousands of West Richland students have received their elementary education at Wiley.
